much needed relief

Grandma/Grandpa Albertson came down last weekend with Jake to provide me with a little relief since Bryan was still out of town. Kaitlin had such a blast playing with big cousin Jake and mommy got to run some errands and clean up a bit.

I bought this dress for Kaitlin last year hoping she can wear it to an Iowa football game this year. I came home to find the nanny had her in it. I have say that Kaitlin looks good rocking the gold and black!

Bryan has been out of town most of the past three weeks. He was able to come home a few weekends ago and we took a family trip to Lincoln Park Zoo. We only snapped a few photos.

Bryan is out of town this week and we weren't able to Skype last night or this morning. So I took this quick video this morning instead. I'm just now getting around to posting it since work has been crazy.

9 month doc appt

Today we had Kaitlin's 9 month doctor appointment. She weighs 17 lbs 2 oz (20% percentile) and 28.5" (80% percentile). She got one shot and took it like a champ. We got the okay to pretty much eat any table/finger foods (with a few exceptions).

This morning Bryan left bright and early for Detroit. He doesn't get back until next Wednesday. I'm sure he'll really miss Kaitlin while he's gone. We will be doing a lot of Skyping with him.
