Last week the nanny took Kaitlin to Gymboree for open play. She said it took Kaitlin a little while to figure out she couuld run around and play on everything without getting into trouble.

great grandma's birthday

I'm catching up on posting but a few weeks ago we were at Bryan's parents house celebrating Bryan's Grandma's birthday. Here's a few photos of Kaitlin reading with cousin Jake.

mommy's little helper

A few weeks ago, I got out Kaitlin's newborn clothes to pull out some gender neutral items, wash them and put them away. Kaitlin decided that she needed to "help" mommy out. As you can see she liked to be INSIDE the bin and threw everything on the floor. At least it kept her entertained for awhile.

stroller obsessed or cabin fever??

The nanny had the day off earlier this week. Bryan stayed home with Kaitlin in the morning and I came home to watch her in the afternoon. Bryan pulled out the jogging stroller to take her for a walk and she climbed in all by herself. I guess she's either stroller obsessed (see my previous post about the new stroller) or she has cabin fever. If the stroller is out, she will whine and try to get in it. At least the weather is getting nice out. We hope it stays...

37/38 weeks

On March 7th I was 37 weeks. At that appointment the doctor was surprise on "how much room" I have up near my ribs. The baby is riding REALLY low. This past Tuesday I had my 38 week appointment. There has been no "progress" so I wasn't able to schedule my induction for the 25th/26th. Hopefully by my next appointment there will be some progress.

I've gained 25 pounds so far (compared to 42 pounds I gained with Kaitlin at this point). My weight hasn't gone up during my last three appointments. Everyone keeps asking me what I'm doing different. Nothing really, just chasing around a toddler. Oh what a difference! Here are a few photos with me at 37 weeks.

new stroller = new toy?

The minute Kaitlin saw our new (double) stroller, she wanted to sit in it. I seriously wheeled her around the house first thing this morning (before she even had breakfast) for 10 minutes. Then after breakfast, she was whining to sit back in it. So I bundled her up and took her for a 10 minute walk, this time outside.
